Temporary Shelter Care
The Progress Ranch Welcome Center is a temporary shelter care program designed to provide a nurturing home where children and youth receive therapeutic support and case management as they transition between homes in the foster care system.
In partnership with Sacramento County, children ages zero to 18 (co-ed), usually stay with us for up to 10 days. We often work with groups of siblings and especially vulnerable youth such as pregnant teens. Here, we offer a safe, comfortable home staffed by specially trained Therapeutic Care Workers, Mental Health Workers, and Social Workers.
This program offers a life changing combination of professionalism, safety, and nurturing during an extraordinarily difficult time for the children in our care.
